Entrance Test score and Work Experience

Group Discussion/Presentation
This will be conducted if there is a minimum group of 4 students available. In this case a topic will be assigned by the concerned faculty and the students will have to discuss this topic for 20 minutes. The faculty will award points to each participating student on the basis of the content, presentation, communication, spoken English and behavior. In the case of situations wherein the number is not sufficient to conduct a GD, the faculty shall use presentation as an evaluation criterion. In this the prospective student will be assigned a topic by the faculty, the student will be given 15 minutes to compile thoughts and make notes. Subsequent to the same the student will have to speak on this topic for 5 minutes. The faculty will award points to each participating student on the basis of the content, presentation, communication, spoken English and behavior.

Statement of Purpose
The student will have to submit an essay of less than 100 words describing the purpose of pursuing a higher degree in management in IFIM Business School. The faculty shall award marks based on the quality of content, presentation and written English.

Personal Interview
This will be conducted by one or more faculty and shall include an external examiner. The main purpose of this interview would be to evaluate the general knowledge of the prospective student assess the purpose for pursuing higher education in Management.

Sports Participation and Extra curricular activities
The IFIM business school awards an extensive weight age to those students who have been actively participating in sports the weightages are listed in the table below. To avail of these marks the student will have to produce original certificates/awards received during the Personal Interview and will need to submit a copy of these attested by a gazette officer whilst making the applications.

The sum of the marks assigned in all the above criterion will used to draw the merit list. This list then shall be used by our admissions office to send out offer letters. Thus we would like all out prospective students to read through these guidelines carefully and come prepared for the interview along with supporting documents as listed above.
