IFIM Center for Distance Learning was established to serve the ever increasing demand for quality distance education in India. IFIM business School is recognized by the Distance Education Council, UGC (University Grants Commission), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India.

In order to ensure quality, IFIM CDL sources the best academic resources for teaching, evaluation, e­-Learning and self ­learning material prepared from the IFIM Business School and from the industry. The curriculum is akin to that of any full time management institute. The comprehensive curriculum is designed and constantly updated by the Academics Department comprising of faculty from top ranks of the industry and having several years of teaching experience.

The teaching approach adopted is the "Blended Learning" methodology for all our programs, combining all the three forms of learning, namely, self­ learning material (hard copy), e­learning (LMS), pre­recorded lectures (videos) and faculty interaction (Chat Sessions and Virtual Classroom Facility)

The key objective of this flagship program is to create leaders who can build their own enterprises, manage organizational resources, deliver performance for organizations, help create wealth for shareholders and provide value to customers, employees and society. The program offers specialization in Finance, Marketing & HR. It aims at crafting future business leaders and functional area specialists.

Duration: 2 years

The Post Graduate Diploma in Financial Management aims to create critical understanding of topics such as financial market, banking and finance markets. PGDM in Finance is an intensely structured programme where students have the option to take electives and build expertise across the verticals like Security analysis, Indian Financial Services and Investment banking and Wealth management.

This module fits well for students working in the banking and financial service industries such as insurance and mutual funds and especially for those seeking education through Distance Learning.

  • Finance specialization students have to compulsorily pursue the 3 finance courses, 1 in Semester III and 2 in Semester IV.
  • There will be a Project Work to be submitted at the end of IV Semester. The project work shall carry 24 credits.

The Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management focuses on developing HR leaders by stimulating captious thinking and concentrating on innovations in this field. The program offers an extensive curriculum covering functions such as planning, organizing and compensation management and performance appraisals. All this is packaged to ensure that the students learn all the important aspects of HR. The PGDM­HR programme is designed to incorporate a dynamic, flexible and industry specific academic curriculum which is relevant and contemporary to meet the present industry needs.

  • HR specialization students have to compulsorily pursue the 3 HR courses, 1 in Semester III and 2 in Semester IV.

The PDGM ­Marketing concentration is tailored to industry specifics focusing on target markets, market monitoring and product development. The course helps create an effective marketer at the workplace and facilitate application of concepts such as customer ­centricity, revitalizing obsolete brands and successful launch of brand extensions. PGDM in marketing is structured to cover subjects on consumer behaviour, services marketing and retail marketing. This course will enable professionals from this sector to effectively generate brand management strategies and function as marketing professionals.

  • Marketing specialization students have to compulsorily pursue the 3 Marketing courses, 1 in Semester III and 2 in Semester IV.
