CORPORATE SOCIAL
RESPONSIBILITY
IFIM Business School has a unique and
innovative field level community based learning
programme titled "Corporate Social Responsibility"
(CSR).
The course aims at building awareness and
sensitizing students to various issues, concerns
and themes faced by the social sector. This offers
a permanent platform to engage in socially
meaningful and relevant projects within the
evolving framework of Management education. The
‘new learning’ exposes the students to the grass
root level problems and provides holistic growth.
We at IFIM Business School, believe that this
enriching experience garnered through socially
relevant projects will enable our students to
emerge as sensitive, emotionally intelligent
leaders of tomorrow.
Under this initiative, IFIM Business School has
forged strong and collaborative linkages with more
than twelve (12) NGOs in and around Bangalore to
provide students with projects and hands-on
learning experiences.
IFIM Business School students undertook the
following projects:
|
-
CRY (Child Rights and
You): to understand the issues and concerns
of state aided primary and secondary education in
Bangalore. They specifically undertook a project
with Konnappanagaraha Government School.
-
Initiative for
Development Foundation (IDF) in collaboration
with NABARD: to assist the Self Help Groups
to set up a Rural Mart in Kolar town.
-
Janaagraha Team on
