The healthcare industry is one of the fastest growing in India at the rate of 16.5 %. The total healthcare industry size in India is expected to touch US$ 160 billion by 2017 and US$ 280 billion by 2020, making it one of sectors with the highest demand for skilled professionals world-wide. Opportunities exist for managerial talent at all levels in Healthcare Industry (Health Insurance, Medical Devices Manufacturing/Distribution, Healthcare IT/BPO, Clinical Research, Pharma, Healthcare e-commerce, Hospital and Healthcare Consultancy) and the role of the PGDM HM is critical in ensuring a high level of optimal service delivery. PGDM WILP
IFIM's Work Integrated Learning Program (WILP) is a two years PGDM program in which a corporate internship is integrated into the curriculum and forms an integral part of academic learning. The program offers the students an opportunity to pursue their studies while they intern with a company and earn a stipend. IFIM facilitates the internship with leading corporate partners.
The students will have to pursue their internship at the company during the week and attend classes over the weekends. On completion of the 2 year course, the student will receive a Post Graduate Diploma in Management, recognized by UGC.

Vide notification No: VTU/ACA/2006-07/2538 dated 12th July, 2006, IFIM Business School), has been permitted by the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum to offer a Ph. D. program* in Management. Thus, IFIM Business School has the unique distinction of being amongst the few autonomous Institutes in the country to be accorded this recognition by a University.
