Dear Student,
In our quest to keep pace with the current trends &
developments in the field of global education, I am
happy to report that we have further upgraded the
PGDM curriculum through the adoption of a multitude
of innovative, integrated & market-friendly
academic initiatives.
Some of these include: |

We innovate in our
curricula and pedagogy. Faculty
governance-meaning, among other things that the
Faculty and institutional committees approve
course syllabi and other academic decisions such
as course requirements and electives – has
allowed curriculum development in response to
evolving Corporate ,Faculty and student
interests.

Students enjoy flexibility
in selecting courses, build inter-disciplinary
perspectives and practical application.
-
Curricular
compatibility-the academic structure, content,
calendar, streams of functional specialization,
the grading systems and the positioning of the PS
programme are all conveniently aligned to support
students in their academic endeavours.

Faculty development
programme – teaching in the PGDM programme is but
one of the activities of a Faculty at IFIM
Business School. The other tasks include
conducting EDP’s / MDP’s, guiding & supervising
students under the Ph.D programme, undertaking
Research & Consulting assignments, development of
teaching material etc. These, as may be seen, are
mutually reinforcing value-add activities that
significantly contribute to their professional &
institutional brand equity. Without this
judicious mix, it would be difficult to not only
attract high quality Faculty but even to remain
competitive.

Use a blend of e-learning,
case discussions, group interactions and
brain-storming sessions etc.

Strive to maintain a
balance between research and practical experience
in driving the curriculum.

It is believed that these initiatives will go a
long way to enrich the overall learning experiences
of PGDM students, create new connections between
IFIM Business School and leading global
institutions, generate interest within the academic
community, expand the minds of students and foster
a climate in which innovative and diverse
educational programmes can flourish, bridging many
of the gaps.
