Prof. Govardhan has as on date over 4 decades of experience in teaching, consultancy and research.

After acquiring 32 years of Teaching experience at the R.V. College of Engineering, Bangalore, he has been the former International Expert- Technology Management for UNIDO. In the past he has been the Chairman Board of Examiners in several south Indian Technical Universities. He has also been the Chairman-Board of Studies, VTU, Karnataka for the discipline of Industrial Engineering and Management. He has conducted over 70 Executive training programmes and Technical Training programmes nationally and internationally. He has delivered several Technical Lectures across the country in several educational institutions and Training Institutions such as HAL Management Academy, CII, Union Bank of India-Staff College, Institution of Engineers, Institution of Industrial Engineers, Operations Research Society, Bangalore Management Association, Indian Statistical Institute and many such other institutions. More recently, he has developed an eBOOK on Decision Support with Excel.
