Dr. Rema more than eleven years of academics, research and administrative experience. She has completed her Bachelors in Science with Physics specialization. She has completed Masters in Business Administration with Marketing [Major] and Human Resource [Minor], from Biju Patnaik University of technology. She qualified National Eligibility Test conducted by UGC in December 2012. She has attained Doctorate of Philosophy in Management (Marketing) on the topic “A Study on Service Quality Dimensions of Organized and Unorganized Retail Stores of Orissa”.

She has worked with reputed institutes like Rourkela Institute of Management Studies, Rourkela as an Assistant Professor in Marketing, ICFAI National College, Bhubaneswar and IIPM-School of Management, Kansbahal as an Assistant Professor – Marketing.

She has a flair for research in the areas of Multi-dimensional decision making, Service Marketing, Machine Learning, Business Analytics and related areas of marketing. She has published around thirteen research papers in various international and national journals and conferences.
